Age Limit: Age Criteria & Relaxation for JK Police Constable Recruitment 2024
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the recruitment of 4,022 Police Constable positions across various categories, including Armed/IRP, SDRF, Telecommunication, Photographer, and Executive Police. Eligible candidates can apply online from July 30 to August 29, 2024, through the official website of JKSSB at jkssb.nic.in.
The age limit for the JK Police Constable 2024 recruitment is 18-28 years as of January 1, 2024. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) will get an age relaxation of 5 years. Candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) will also get an age relaxation of 5 years. Additionally, candidates serving in the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department will get an age relaxation up to 40 years.
