Age Limit: Age Limit of SSC MTS & Havaldar 8326 Posts Recruitment 2024

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the recruitment of 8,326 vacancies for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar posts. The government is actively encouraging women candidates to apply, as part of its commitment to promoting gender diversity in the public sector. The selection process will involve a written exam, physical efficiency test, and document verification, with successful candidates earning competitive salaries.

  • 18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.08.1999 and not later than 01.08.2006) for MTS.
  • 18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.08.1997 and not later than 01.08.2006) for Havaldar in CBIC and CBN, Department of Revenue and a few posts of MTS in various departments.

Additionally, the permissible age relaxations for various categories beyond the upper age limit are outlined as follows:

  1. SC/ST: 5 years
  2. OBC: 3 years
  3. PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
  4. PwBD (OBC): 13 years
  5. PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  6. Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 3 years after deduction of military service
  7. Defence Personnel disabled in operation: 3 years
  8. Defence Personnel disabled in operation (SC/ST): 8 years
  9. Central Government Civilian Employees: Up to 40 years of age
  10. Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated: Up to 35 years of age
  11. Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated (SC/ST): Up to 40 years of age

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the recruitment of 8326 vacancies for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar posts in various government ministries and departments.

A total of 8326 vacancies will be filled, including 4887 for MTS and 3439 for Havaldar posts in CBIC and CBN.

The selection process consists of a Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) for the post of Havaldar, and document verification.

Candidates must have passed Class 10 or Matriculation examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.

The SSC MTS Tier 1 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in October or November 2024.
