Age Limit: Age Limit & Relaxation for JPSC Recruitment 2024: 170 Forest Range Officer Vacancies

The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is recruiting 170 Forest Range Officers (FRO) for 2024, with applications open from July 29 to August 10. Candidates must possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree and be aged between 21 and 35 years. The selection process includes written exams, physical tests, and an interview, offering a great opportunity for those interested in forest conservation.

The JPSC Forest Range Officer recruitment has an age limit of 21 to 35 years as of August 1, 2024. This age range ensures that candidates have the necessary maturity and experience to handle the responsibilities of the position. However, the JPSC provides age relaxations for certain categories of applicants. For instance, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are eligible for a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit. Similarly, Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates can avail of a 3-year age relaxation. These relaxations aim to provide equal opportunities to all sections of society and encourage their participation in the recruitment process.
