The Chhattisgarh Fire and Emergency Services Department has released the CG Home Guard Bharti 2024 Notification, announcing 2215 vacancies for Nagar Sainik posts. The syllabus for the CG Home Guard Written Exam 2024 covers General Knowledge, Intelligence and Reasoning, Analytical Ability, and Arithmetic. The General Knowledge section includes current affairs, history, geography, culture, polity, governance, science, technology, sports, and awards. Intelligence and Reasoning tests verbal, non-verbal, logical reasoning, and analytical ability. Analytical Ability assesses data interpretation, sufficiency, problem-solving, and decision-making. The Arithmetic section covers number system, decimals, fractions, percentages, ratio, proportion, time, work, speed, distance, and mensuration.

The total number of vacancies is 2215, out of which 1715 are for Female Home Guards and 500 are for Home Guards (General Duty) for both males and females.

The application process is online. Candidates have to visit the official website, fill out the application form, upload documents, pay the fee, and submit the application.

The age limit is 19 to 40 years as of July 1, 2024. For candidates from surrendered or Naxal-affected families, the maximum age is 45 years.

The selection process includes Physical Efficiency Test (100 marks), Written Exam (100 marks), Bonus Points (20 marks), Document Verification, and Medical Examination.

The salary for CG Home Guard is in the range of ₹12,700 - ₹18,900 per month.

The minimum height requirement is 168 cm for UR/SC/OBC categories, 153 cm for ST candidates in certain districts, and 158 cm for ST candidates in other districts.
