Exam Process: Indian Coast Guard Navik (GD) & Yantrik 320 Posts 01/2025 Recruitment 2024 Exam Process

The Indian Coast Guard has released the notification for Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics) recruitment for the 01/2025 batch. A total of 320 posts are available across both categories.

The written exam for the Indian Coast Guard Navik (GD) & Yantrik (01/2025) Recruitment 2024 will have 5 sections testing candidates on subjects like Maths, Science, English, Reasoning, GK, Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering. The total marks are 260, and the passing marks are 30 for UR/EWS/OBC and 27 for SC/ST categories. After the written exam, shortlisted candidates will undergo an Ability Test to assess their technical skills and aptitude. This will be followed by a rigorous Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Fitness Test (PFT) which includes a 1.6 km run, 10 push-ups, and 10 sit-ups. Candidates must meet the minimum physical standards to qualify for the next stage of document verification, interview, and medical examination. The selection process is highly competitive, and candidates are advised to thoroughly prepare for each stage to increase their chances of getting selected in the Indian Coast Guard.
