Selection: J&K Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Jammu & Kashmir Bank invites online applications for engagement of Apprentices under Apprentices Act-1961 (amended from time to time) for a period of one (01) year (i.e. 360 days). Selected candidates will be engaged in branches/offices in the respective districts at the discretion of the Bank.

  1. Online Written Test consists of two sections: General Awareness & English Comprehension, and Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability.
  2. Each section comprises 50 questions, totaling 100 questions, with a time limit of 60 minutes.
  3. Questions are in English only, and there's a penalty of 1/4th mark per wrong answer.
  4. Merit list is prepared district/region-wise and category-wise, based on aggregate marks.
  5. Tie-breaking is determined by age in descending order.
  6. A wait list of 20% of vacancies is maintained for 6 months or until the end of the financial year.
  7. Apprenticeship contracts are offered via the apprenticeship portal and must be accepted within a specified timeframe.
  8. Training commences from the contract date.
  9. Assessment involves theory evaluation by BFSI SSC and practical assessment by the Bank.
  10. Certification is jointly issued by the Bank and BFSI SSC, with additional requirements including medical fitness and document verification.

Application Fee: The application fee for J&K Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2024 is Rs. 700 for Unreserved category and Rs. 500 for Reserved category.

Salary Offered: The selected candidate in Jammu and Kashmir Bank Recruitment 2024 will be offered a monthly salary of Rs. 22,000 along with additional benefits like conveyance, mobile/telephone charges, and performance-linked incentives.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for Jammu and Kashmir Bank Recruitment 2024, candidates must have a graduation degree with experience in banking/related fields and sound knowledge of banking, law, finance, agriculture, and allied activities. The candidate's age should not exceed 65 years.

Contract Tenure: The selected candidate in Jammu and Kashmir Bank Recruitment 2024 will be engaged for a period of 12 months, renewable up to a maximum period of 3 years based on satisfactory performance and review.
