Age Limit: Maximum Age For Air Force

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the AFCAT 02/2024 recruitment to fill 304 vacancies for Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying, Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches.

  • For the Flying Branch:
    • Candidates must be between 20 to 24 years of age.
    • For candidates holding a valid Commercial Pilot License, the upper age limit is relaxable up to 26 years.
  • For the Ground Duty Branch:
    • Candidates must be between 20 to 26 years of age.
  • The candidate must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course.
  • Marriage is not permitted during training.
