The selection process for the HPCL Mechanical Engineer, Sr Officer & Other Recruitment 2024 comprises of various shortlisting and selection tools, which would be administered depending upon the position requirement. The selection process may include the following stages: Computer Based Test (CBT) The CBT will consist of objective questions and will test the candidates' General Aptitude (English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation) and Technical/Professional Knowledge related to their qualifying degree/educational background. To qualify for the next stage, candidates need to score at least 50% in the domain section of the CBT. The CBT accounts for 85% weightage in the overall selection process.
