Selection: Selection Process for Punjab and Haryana Judgment Writer 2024
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has announced a recruitment drive for 33 Judgment Writer positions, as detailed in the notification released on September 10, 2024.
- Candidates must take down dictation at 120 w.p.m. in English Shorthand and transcribe it at 24 w.p.m.
- The shorthand dictation will last for 10 minutes, and candidates cannot exceed 5% mistakes to qualify.
- A spreadsheet test (10 marks) is qualifying in nature, requiring at least 40% marks (4 or more marks) to pass.
- Final qualified candidates will be listed based on merit in the word processing/transcription test.
- Candidates will be notified via SMS and/or E-mail for checking their original testimonials.
- Being called for testimonials checking does not guarantee qualification or eligibility for selection.
- The High Court reserves the right to determine the number of candidates called for testimonials checking.
- All other recruitment terms and conditions will follow the High Court Establishment (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1973.
