Selection: Selection Process for SSC JHT Recruitment 2024
The SSC JHT 312 Vacancy Notification 2024 will be released on August 2, 2024 by the Staff Selection Commission. The application period will be open from August 2 to August 25, 2024, and the exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in October-November 2024.
- Stage 1: Written Exam
- Paper I (Computer-Based Test)
- Objective type questions from General Hindi and General English
- Total marks: 200 (100 marks each for Hindi and English sections)
- Duration: 2 hours (2 hours 40 minutes for candidates with scribe)
- Paper II (Descriptive Test)
- Pen and paper mode
- Questions on Translation and Essay writing
- Total marks: 200
- Duration: 2 hours (2 hours 40 minutes for candidates with scribe)
- Only candidates who qualify Paper I will be eligible to appear for Paper II.
- Paper I (Computer-Based Test)
- Stage 2: Document Verification
- Candidates shortlisted based on their performance in Paper II will be called for document verification.
- Original documents related to age, educational qualifications, category, etc. will be checked.
- Medical fitness test may also be conducted.
- Final Selection
- The final selection will be made based on the marks obtained in Paper II, subject to qualifying Paper I and document verification.
- The merit list will be prepared by the Staff Selection Commission and recommended to the User Departments for final appointment.
