Age Limit: UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024 Age Limit

The UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024 notification was released on February 14, 2024, and the application process began on the same day. The exam consists of three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Personality Test. The Preliminary Examination is scheduled for June 16, 2024, and the Main Examination will take place from September 20, 2024, onward.

The age limit for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024 varies based on the category. General category candidates must be between 21 and 32 years of age, while OBC candidates can be up to 35 years old. SC/ST candidates have an extended age limit of up to 37 years, and PwBD candidates can be as old as 42 years. Ex-Servicemen are also given relaxation, with an age limit of 21 to 37 years. The age is calculated as of August 1, 2024, and candidates born between August 2, 1992, and August 1, 2003, are eligible to apply for UPSC CSE 2024.
